Gooseberry

Gooseberries are a medium-sized  round to oval-shaped sweet-tart berries, typically growing on moderately sized shrubs reaching a height of one meter and is further classified as European gooseberry. 

Gooseberries are known for their smooth, taut, and translucent skin, and they may bear a waxy bloom as well as a few thin vertical stripes. The gooseberry bears a soft, tender, and aqueous flesh with many small, brown, and oval seeds within. Gooseberries taste sweet-tart.

Generally, average gooseberry my have 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide diameter. Average weight of gooseberry can be around 3-6 grams (0.1-0.2 ounces).
